I’ve been coming to Havana for the past 8 years, and one of the main reasons is Al Carbón. Without a doubt, it’s the best food I’ve had in Cuba—consistently exceptional, every single time. Whether it’s fresh fish, lobster, shrimp, or tender cuts of beef and pork, the flavors are absolutely unforgettable. The quality and taste are on another level—rich, authentic, and cooked to perfection. What makes this place truly special is that the experience goes far beyond the food. I am extremely surprised as I’m coming here now to review this restaurant and seeing the subpar reviews. Our experience couldn’t have been further from some of the negative reviews. I have traveled and eaten all over the world and this was one of the best meals I’ve had. The Suckling Pig in particular was incredible! The roasted chicken, lamb, all of the appetizers, cocktails, everything was fantastic and 5 stars. Service and live music were also fantastic. And the vibes in the restaurant, decor, ambiance were all immaculate and wonderful. 10/10!

Almost walked past this place, that is hidden on a side street. Friendly and welcoming personel, great ambience with a good live band. I had grilled lobster that was both abundant and great tasting.
